Rest // Room is a fine art and interior design project made specifically for the bathrooms at  Solamente Holistic Health at the Ruppe. Featuring handmade ceramic mosaics, custom furniture, and digital drawings, the installations are evocative of sacred spaces like chapels and sanctums. The project exalts restrooms to an almost holy place; being a room of daily domestic ritual that is almost exclusively enacted in solitude. The installations are an ongoing exploration of these themes. The first of which, Divinity Bathroom, debuted at Wo/Mann House 2022 in Belen, New Mexico. Rest // Room features imagery inspired by the nurturing work of Solamente, and the history of herbalism at the Ruppe.
